Yes, another one. Why don't they just show us the whole episode before it actually airs?
Also, cute little interview with Kevin and Jenna.

In his new interview at his book signing in Los Angeles, the Hulk talks about his bass playing years and how he offered to fill in on bass for the Rolling Stones and Metallica?

Comment: I didn't know he supported himself playing music. I love the little kids who came to meet and arm-wrestle him and it's cute that he let's him win :)

Laugh-worthy quote: "Music is in the blood, my daughter is carrying it on..."

TWILIGHT hunk ROBERT PATTINSON was embarrassed by recent rumours of a romance with MEGAN FOX - because gossip magazines reported he had taken her on a "cheesy" date.
The stars fuelled speculation about a relationship when they posed for photos together at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles in August (09).

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

The Transformers beauty subsequently dismissed the reports, insisting she barely knows the Brit heart-throb.

And the story made Pattinson cringe - because of all the phony details.

He tells British magazine Heat, "I wouldn't be that cheesy if I was to go on a date with her. Because I read this magazine thing that said, 'He was rubbing her back, they were drinking Merlot... He was reading her poetry.' I was so embarrassed, like, 'Oh God!'"

But Pattinson admits his friends were very impressed by the rumours: "I kept getting all these texts from my mates in England saying, 'Whoa, are you going out with Megan Fox?' And I'd met her once, for like two seconds."

Eminem continues to make headlines from a ScreenDaily report that says Slim is set to star in "Shady Talez," a 3D horror anthology. But Names & Faces talked to Shady management a few days ago, and got this about the project: "This is just an idea that someone potentially involved (in) jumped the gun on and talked to the wrong blogger about too early. It's so far in its infancy stages that nothing is close to confirmed."

Thank God-cuz I love Eminem but his sounds corny as helllll.

"I can't promise anything."

That is what Kevin Williamson said when I asked point blank if his claim to "never play Sid out that way" still stood. But first, some backstory. In July, it was revealed that Neve Campbell passed on returning for the upcoming "Scream 4," a fact I celebrated since horror movies have a habit of killing off their heroines when they return for subsequent sequels.
Kevin emailed me personally to say that he would never do that to Miss Prescott and I officially hopped on board the new trilogy train. So when I had the opportunity to chat with Kevin about "Vampire Diaries" [look for that tomorrow], talk naturally turned to the next three "Scream" movies and that's when Kevin revealed Sidney might not survive to see the end credits.
"The thing about 'Scream 4' is that there are a lot of twists and turns, so I can't promise anything," he told PopWrap about Sidney's role in the fourth film now that Neve will return. "There are a lot of moving pieces, so we'll see -- but if you're a 'Scream' fan, I think you're really going to like it."
As for the elements that will make this next crop of killings so exciting, Kevin explained that the changing face of horror over the last 10 years has also altered the tone of the new movie.
"I've [included] manga comics, Asian ghost girl movies, there's some PG-13 horror movies in there, vampire movies, M. Night Shyamalan movies and torture porn movies, even though they've come and gone."
But the biggest hurdle Kevin faced while shaping "Scream 4" was not making it too jokey. "You have to be careful because 'Scary Movie' spoofed these films, so one of the things I'm excited about with 'Scream 4' is that, while we do lampoon and send up the genre, [we] make it incredibly scary. That's first and foremost."

So while Sidney Prescott might not live to see "Scream 5," Kevin would like us all to rest assured that we're in for a terrifying ride.

EDIT: Just to clarify, as some people in the comments seem to be confused:

"Torture porn" does NOT necessarily indicate actual pornography or even violence against women in and out of itself. All it refers to is horror films with scenes of torture. Men can be on the receiving end as well.

Nor does it mean that the people who watch it are titillated by it either. Some people just enjoy it because they like being shocked and disgusted.

I personally think the term is misleading, but it appears to have caught on.

Twilight hotties Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner cover the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly.

Starring in the upcoming film, New Moon, Team Twilight opens up and dishes about the new flick.

Taylor talked about his relationship with K-Stew, saying, ”Jacob and Bella are so open, and they can tell each other everything. So it was very important for me and Kristen to grow very close before doing this.”

Robert enjoyed the fact that Taylor would be stepping up in New Moon, saying, “It was a stress-free job for three months…All the pressure was on Taylor!”

On Saturday the 14th at 4AM UTC/GMT we will be upgrading the operating system of our network load balancers to a newer version, one that will allow us to use both CPUs! Nifty, because multiprocessing is nice.

Since we have 2 load balancers, the plan is to upgrade 1 at a time, and there really should be very little impact to our website. Hopefully you won't notice a thing and I'll get to go back to the hotel and watch some wonderful late night infomercials.

We've got a lot of exciting projects coming up for 2010 and we're hoping that we'll be able to deliver them all to you, that you will find it useful/cool/lovely and then you will use the site even more. Behind-the-scenes work like this will give us the capacity to handle the anticipated traffic, so expect a few more maintenance windows especially in the beginning of next year as we've got some neat ideas to improve performance around here! We had the recent 30-45 minute outage yesterday due to one of our logging databases filling up disk space -- not so great design coupled with my human error in handling the initial problem -- and it looks like we're going to finally have some resources to eliminate stuff like that. I can't wait!

As usual, I will be updating status.livejournal.org before and after, just in case you are not able to reach our main website during the work.

Katy Perry's Unplugged album hits stores on November 17, but you don't have to wait that long to hear her stripped-down set ... because MTV.com is going to give you sneak peek.

Starting at 6 a.m. Monday, November 16 — 24 hours before the album is released — Perry's "Unplugged" performance will air on MTV.com and MTVMusic.com, giving fans a chance to hear her acoustic takes on hits like "I Kissed a Girl" and "Waking Up in Vegas," plus a pair of new songs, too: "Brick by Brick," and a cover of the Fountains of Wayne's "Hackensack."

The special also features an extended interview with Perry, in which she discusses the stories behind some of her biggest songs. Immediately following its debut Monday morning, Perry's "Unplugged" program will also be made available on-demand at MTV.com. MTV will also air highlights from the special across its multiple platforms on-air, including mtvU, MTV Hits and MTV Tr3s.

Leading up to the digital premiere, on November 16 the network's morning all-music block, AMTV, will begin to air performance videos taken from the taping. Palladia, MTV's high-definition television channel, will also air a half-hour version of the special on November 27 at 9 p.m. and 12 a.m. ET/PT.

Perry's MTV Unplugged album will also be released in a deluxe CD/DVD edition on the same day the regular version hits stores. A teaser clip of Perry's "Unplugged" performance can be viewed at MTV.com.

Perry's also hard at work on the follow-up to her One of the Boys album, and last week, she returned for her second stint as host of the MTV Europe Music Awards.

TV viewing at an all-time high

For the 2008-2009 TV season, the amount of television watched reached an all-time high as Americans spent four hours and 49 minutes a day on average in front of the TV, up four minutes from last year and up 20% from 10 years ago. The average household watched eight hours and 21 minutes a day on average, also at an all-time high.

Daily viewing during primetime remained flat compared to a year ago, but is still at its highest peak since 1991.

The continued increase in television consumption can be attributed to several factors including more television sets in the home, and Americans also have more channels and content to choose from and are using their DVRs more than ever.
